The GraveYard TCG offers secure payment options processed through industry-leading providers. This page covers what we accept, how we keep payments secure, and what to do if something goes wrong.

All prices in United States Dollars (USD). We currently accept payments in USD only.
Payment Security
PCI DSS Level 1 Compliance
Both Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and Stripe direct are PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment card security. This means your card data is encrypted in transit, never stored in plain text, and handled according to the strictest financial industry security standards.
SSL/TLS Encryption
All payment pages use 256-bit SSL encryption. The padlock icon in your browser address bar confirms the secure connection.
What We Don't Store
The GraveYard does not store complete credit card numbers on our servers. Card processing happens entirely through PCI-compliant payment processors. We see only the last four digits, expiration date, and authorization status — never the full number, never the CVV.

When Is Payment Charged
Payment is processed immediately when you place your order. For pre-orders, payment is charged in full at the time of pre-order placement. Authorization holds may appear on your account briefly before the final charge settles.
Payment Confirmation
You receive an order confirmation email immediately after payment processes successfully. The email includes your order number, items purchased, and total charged. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within 15 minutes.
Payment Declined?
- Verify card information (number, expiration, CVV, billing zip)
- Check available funds or credit limit
- Contact your bank — sometimes fraud prevention blocks online card-not-present transactions

Common decline reasons: insufficient funds, billing address mismatch, expired card, bank fraud holds, exceeded daily limits.
Billing Address
Your billing address must match what your card issuer has on file. Mismatches trigger fraud holds. If you're shipping to a different address, that's fine — just make sure billing matches your card.
Refunds
Refunds go back to your original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 3-5 business days
- PayPal: 1-2 business days
- Stripe: 3-5 business days
Tax Collection
California Sales Tax: Collected on orders shipping to California addresses, as required by state law. Tax rate is calculated based on your shipping address at checkout.
Other States: May be subject to sales tax based on destination state requirements.
Payment Disputes And Chargebacks
If you have an issue with a charge, contact us first at support@thegraveyardtcg.shop before filing a chargeback. We can usually resolve issues directly within 24-48 hours. Chargebacks are an expensive process for both parties and often unnecessary if we just talk first.
